Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  1. Manuscript Submission

    Originality: Submitted manuscripts must be original works that have not been previously published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Any indication of plagiarism will lead to immediate rejection.
    Permissions: If the manuscript includes previously published material, such as images or tables, authors must obtain written permission from the copyright holders for reproduction in both print and digital formats. Proof of permission must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission.
    Online Submission: All manuscripts must be submitted through our online submission platform. Authors should ensure that all required files are uploaded according to the provided instructions. Accepted file formats include .doc, .docx, and .pdf, with a maximum file size of 10 MB.
  2. Title Page

    Title: The title should be concise, informative, and accurately reflect the main content of the research. The title should not exceed 15 words in length.

    Author Information: Include the full names, institutional affiliations (department, university, city, country), active email addresses of the corresponding author, and, if available, 16-digit ORCID IDs for each author. Author names should be listed without academic degrees or titles.
  3. Manuscript Structure

    Abstract: The abstract should be a summary of 150-250 words, including the objectives, methods, results, and key conclusions of the research. It should be written in both English and Indonesian.
    Keywords: Provide 4-6 relevant keywords to facilitate indexing and search.
    Introduction: The introduction should clearly explain the background, context, and objectives of the research. A relevant literature review supporting the study should be included.
    Methods: Provide a detailed description of the research design, procedures, tools, and analysis used, enabling replication of the study by other researchers.
    Results: Present the main findings clearly, supported by relevant tables, graphs, or figures. Use subheadings to enhance readability.
    Discussion: The discussion should analyze the results, compare them with existing literature, and explore the implications of the findings. Limitations of the study should also be discussed, and suggestions for future research should be provided.
    Conclusion: The conclusion should summarize the key findings and offer suggestions for future research or practical applications. It should not repeat information already covered in the results or discussion sections.
  4. Article Writing Style

    • Formatting: Use Times New Roman font, size 12, with double spacing. Set margins to 2.5 cm on all sides. Page numbers should appear on each page.

    • References: Follow the latest edition of the American Psychological Association (APA) style for citations and references. Ensure that all cited sources are included in the reference list and vice versa.
      Example in-text citation: (Smith, 2020)
      Example reference formats:

      • Book: Smith, J. (2020). Book Title. Publisher.
      • Journal Article: Smith, J. (2020). Article title. Journal Name, 12(3), 123-145. https://doi.org/xx.xxx/yyyy
    • Tables and Figures: Number tables and figures consecutively as they appear in the text. Provide descriptive titles for each table and figure, and include sources if adapted from other materials. All tables and figures should be of high resolution (minimum 300 dpi).

  5. Publication Ethics

    • Ethical Approval: If the research involves human or animal subjects, a statement of approval from the relevant ethics committee must be included. The research must comply with internationally recognized ethical standards.

    • Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest, financial or otherwise, that may influence the research results or their interpretation. All funding sources must also be disclosed.

    • Author Contributions: A description of each author's contribution to the research should be provided to ensure transparency. Use standard terminology, such as "study conception and design," "data collection," "data analysis," etc.

    • Authorship: Only individuals who have made substantial contributions to the research should be listed as authors. Each author must approve the final manuscript and agree to be accountable for its content.

  6. Post-Acceptance

    • Proofreading: Authors will receive proofs for review. They should carefully check for errors before final publication. Corrections will only be allowed for minor typographical or factual errors.

    • Copyright: By submitting the manuscript, authors agree to comply with the journal’s copyright policy. Further details are available on the journal's website. Copyright will be transferred to the journal upon publication.

    • Distribution: After publication, authors are encouraged to share the link to their article and use academic platforms to increase its visibility. Authors may archive the accepted version of their article in institutional or personal repositories.

  7. Additional Guidelines

    • Plagiarism: All manuscripts will be checked for plagiarism using detection software. Manuscripts with plagiarism exceeding 20% will be returned without further review.

    • Open Access: Integra Management Review provides full open access to all published articles under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license.

    • Publication Fees: There is an Article Processing Charge (APC) of 250 USD for the publication of accepted articles. This fee covers the costs associated with peer review, editing, and open-access publication.
